#SOUTHERNTOUR

November 8, 2012

Well, I’m sure you noticed that I haven’t posted in a little while. Life has been so busy the past few months with projects that have all been leading up to the end of October. I narrowly escaped Hurricane Sandy and made it back just in time to get my stuff together to take off for the month of November. I am currently on a southern tour back home to Louisiana and Texas visiting family and checking out spots between the two states. I’m spending some time in New Orleans with friends and I’m also spending a week in Austin to see all that both great cities have to offer. It’s a bit of an inspiration trip, to gather my thoughts for 2013 and set new plans into motion. In the interim, I also have somebody working on The Sche Report’s new website and identity which will be launching in January 2013. I’m very excited about all of these new opportunities and I can’t wait to share it all with you as life unfolds.

In an effort to stay present in my journey, my posting this month will be a bit sporadic but I will be very active on instagram sharing my journey photographically. I hope you can follow me @theschereport where I will be sharing all of the things that inspire me along my journey from food, culture, fashion, retail, nature, friends, family and music. All the things I love from the places that I grew up in that have such a huge part of who I am.

See you on the road!

If I’m an advocate for anything, it’s to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone else’s shoes or at least eat their food, it’s a plus for everybody.
Open your mind, get up off the couch, move.“—–Anthony Bourdain
