JOSHUA TREE PART 1: TREASURE HUNTING

May 30, 2011

We all know that fashion never sleeps, and quite frankly it is moving at the speed of light these days.  But sometimes we’ve got to put it all out of our head and check out of the scene for a minute.  I’ve done exactly that and am currently road-tripping to Joshua Tree for a much needed retreat.

First things first....TEQUILA!!

This is my first time headed to this part of the desert.  I’ve been to Palm Springs many times for lounging by the pool, but this trip will be much more than that and I’m super excited about it.  Joshua Tree is the type of place that offers a lot of surprise inspiration around every corner.

On the drive up, we passed a plethora of Vintage stores filled with some of the best treasures I have seen in awhile.  I always love to find vintage stores in random places because they always have the best stuff to sort through.  I was not disappointed with what I found.

Here is a sneak peak and some cool things I found along the way.

Stay tuned for more updates from my road trip in the coming week’s posts.

All photos by my driving buddy, partner in crime, and photographer Lindsay Lohden.
