TREND SPOTTING: PAINT BY NUMBER

Back in September, The Sche Report made a prediction that we would start to see a trend in multi-colored painted hair in the fashion industry. We spotted the trend on the runways of Alexander Wang and Altuzarra, where models strutted their stuff with colored paint in their hair.

We’ve spotted our first editorial initiating this trend on Stylecaster. The story is called “The Color Collector” and is shot by Andrew Yee and styled by Kemal and Karla.
The multi-colored hair really reminds me of the editorial from French magazine that is within the article.
The palette in the editorial is colorfully inline with Spring 2011′s mood.
