REVIVAL VINTAGE LA
Last night I went to the Grand Re-Opening party of one of my favorite Vintage stores in LA that just re-located to Beverly street a few doors down from TenoverSix(one of my other favorite stores).
The store, Revival Vintage, is owned by my friend Nikki Swasey who has an amazing eye for design. Nikki and I first became friends when I visited her store in the Valley and I connected so much with her taste level and her passion for vintage.
She soon told me that she had been in “The Business” as a Asst. Director working on several successful tv shows and movies. She had been collecting vintage for years hoping to one day launch her dream of having a boutique. That day finally came and she quit her job and opened her first store in Sherman Oaks 3 years ago.
I have been a big fan of her and knew that she was going to be a huge success as she offers a distinct taste level and broad range of vintage wears. Her collection ranges from Designer goods to no-names and she buys things based on classic styling and design that will always be in style and make a statement. And the best part is that her prices are reasonable for the amazing pieces that she finds.
Nikki refers to her aesthetic as Funky Glam which is the perfect description of her style choices. The interior of her store is decorated and set up like a Parisian boutique with vintage paintings and furniture mixing Regency styling with Old World flair.
Her eye for style is seen in all of the little details around the store. I can’t tell you how many times I have been in her store and everytime I find something that I haven’t seen before and am in awe.
She travels Worldwide looking for the treasures that hang on her racks as well as on the walls. Her knack for interior design is a gift that goes right along with her high eye for fashion. Nikki and I LOVE the hunt for special unique things and we both feed off of eachother for inspiration and ideas.
Along with all of her apparel, Nikki has collected an amazing amount of accessories including: hats, belts, shoes, handbags, scarves and jewelry. Each item is treated so special in its presentation which exudes the one-of-a-kind feel of her store.
Her jewelry collection spans several generations from the 20′s to the 90′s and Nikki designs her own pieces updating Vintage styles with Modern details.

Revival has amazing handbags in all shapes and sizes that reflect every style possible. Each is handpicked and displayed with love and affection hoping the right owner will come in and claim them. I know I have personally claimed several
.
Last night’s gathering was festive and full of Los Angeles vintage Aficionados as well as some local celebrities.Daniella Clarke of Frankie B Jeans is a huge client of Revival Vintage and hosted the party.
Revival Vintage is located at 7403 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. Her ecommerce site is under construction at the moment, but personal requests can be made over the phone if you are looking for anything specific.
I am very picky about which Vintage stores I shop in around the city and Revival is one you do not want to miss. This store is a stand out amongst other over-priced Vintage stores and visiting the store is a pleasure and an experience on its own.
